Minuteman Press has just celebrated its 20th Anniversary in Middletown CT. We have been providing high quality Printing and Copying to the Middlesex County since 2002.

Charlie Lazich the owner, spent eight years in purchasing Print & Marketing materials in the Health Care and Pharmaceutical industry prior to opening the business 20 years ago. He felt most printers promised jobs and delivered them late with inconsistent quality and price. He has built his business based on integrity and on offering high quality, on time delivery, at a competitive, reasonable price. In 2009 Charlie opened a second location in Avon, CT.

 At Minuteman, we specialize in full color instant and commercial offset printing and now have the latest Technology in Digital printing.  Our state of the art Xerox Digital Presses can turn around your job when you need it. We also run an eight color Epson Wide format sign and poster printer along with our Kip blue printer to copy architectural drawings.   We are one of the few printers in the state who can scan and copy wide format color prints.

In our graphic design department we use the latest software in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Fiery RIP and more. We can utilize both a PC and Apple Mac file.

 We have complete bindery and finishing services including folding, cutting, score/perf/number, saddle stitch, GBC and plastic comb. And don't forget to ask about our mailing and direct mail marketing capabilities.

Some of our more popular printed products include: brochures to help promote your business or service professionally. Our business cards can be as simple as a one color, or full color,  printed on coated stock on one or both sides. Our envelopes range from a small reply or remittance envelope or a more common window or letter size right on to a self seal accounting 10x13.  Ordering flyers is simple and a great way to promote your business and get your company's name out there. We have social and business announcement  invitations. Most company's use  labels and we offer all shapes, sizes, and colors on rolls or in sheets. The many different paper samples we have, could enhance your  letterhead and with our special process you can pass it right through most office copiers and laser printers. Whether it is internal or going to a customer base of your organization our newsletters will get the message across to all your readers who need a hard copy to take where ever they go. The USPS has new rules and regulations on mail deliveries, so we can fit your postcards to size and also mail it through their new EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) service.  And show your customers how professional you are by delivering them your quote or information in one of your professional presentation folders die cut to fit you business card

What are the top items I need to have printed when starting a new business?

We are here to guide you through the marketing and advertising process.  We developed a program called Simple Business Builders. We designed it for companies of all sizes to effectively cross-market themselves in various ways.  Our Simple Business Builders program is comprised of our best-selling products at exceptional prices.  Items include Business Cards, Flyers, Brochures, Postcards, Rack Cards, Door Hangers, Pens, Sticky Notes, Vehicle Signs/Magnets, Yard Signs, and Banners.  Other popular items include Direct Mail/EDDM Postcards, Promotional Products, and Branded Apparel.  We are excited to speak with you about your marketing and advertising needs and provide specific recommendations for your business.

How does the proofing process work?

If you order directly with one of our locations, over the phone or in person, a graphic proof will be sent via email for you to approve after an order is confirmed.  Once approved, we can begin production. If you order through our online designer, you will be presented an online proof to make a final review before submitting your order.

Why is a graphic proof important?

It allows our clients to see how the finished job will look before it is printed and gives our clients the opportunity to make changes before the job enters production.

Do you require a deposit?

In most cases, we require a 50% deposit on all orders. Orders through our web store are required to be paid in full before we begin production.
